Based on a Czech ZB.26 design, the Bren Gun was the standard issue light machine gun for all British and Commonwealth forces throughout the war. From the forests of Europe to the deserts of North Africa and in the jungles of Southeast Asia, the Bren Gun performed well under all conditions.
